● Notice of Lump-sum Withdrawal Payment (through Social Insurance Agency in Japan).
● Payment notices for dividends on listed stocks, etc.
● Special account annual transaction reports
● Payment notices for open-type securities investment trusts
● Deduction certificates for social insurance premiums (e.g., national pension insurance certificates)
● Deduction certificates for life insurance premiums
(If not mentioned on salary withholding tax statements, life insurance certificates are required.)
● Certification for working students (not required for university students)
● Medical expense receipts for deduction
● Exemption documents for persons with disabilities, spouses, or dependents residing outside Japan
(Foreign-language documents require a Japanese translation.)


Additional Documents for Overseas Relatives:
Documents Concerning Relatives:
A copy of the family register or a government-issued document and a copy of the overseas relative’s passport.
A document issued by a foreign government showing the relative’s name, date of birth, and address.
Documents Concerning Remittances:
A document from a financial institution proving remittances for living or educational expenses.
A credit card company document showing purchases made by the overseas relative using your credit card.
380,000 yen remittance document:
A document proving that you remitted ¥380,000 or more per year for living or educational expenses to each relative residing abroad.
